We believe that optimal access to sound has a huge impact in terms of rate of progress in children. The Moog Center has four pediatric audiologists, all of whom have earned their Doctorate in Audiology, on staff to serve the families and children in our Family School and School as well as alumni who continue to receive services from the Moog Center. Their experience and talent in working with infants and toddlers is a major factor in our children learning faster and talking better. Our audiologists are skilled in programming and fitting hearing aids, cochlear implants and FM/DM systems on very young children, sometimes as young as a few weeks. They are immediately available for trouble-shooting. This has resulted in our children achieving excellent speech perception skills which has contributed to their accelerated learning.

Our audiologists also conduct and participate in research related to various topics in the field of audiology.
