Facilitating Vocabulary Growth Throughout the Day

This session will provide professionals, parents, and caregivers with information about the importance of vocabulary for children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Tiered vocabulary instruction will be discussed, and word lists will be shared, including The First 100, The Next 150, and The Following 300 words. Proven-successful techniques will be shared for incorporating vocabulary learning throughout the day.
