Incorporating Pre-Academic Literacy Skills Into EI Sessions
November 16, 2026 (Monday)
Early literacy skills are essential for lifelong learning and develop through early interactions and experiences. For young children with disabilities, these skills may require additional support. This session will share practical, engaging, and fun strategies for seamlessly incorporating early literacy skills into daily routines, play, and family activities with infants and toddlers, while providing ideas for supporting parents and caregivers in fostering early literacy development. The vocabulary and language needed to participate in early literacy activities will be reviewed and explained.
To receive credit for this session, participants must attend the presentation and complete a post-session self-assessment and reflection.
