Incorporating Pre-Academic Math Skills Into EI Sessions
January 13, 2027 (Wednesday)

This session will provide a plethora of ideas for helping parents and caregivers incorporate pre-math skills naturally into everyday family activities with their toddlers in an engaging and fun manner. The vocabulary and language needed to participate in age-appropriate pre-math activities will be reviewed and explained. Participants will explore how simple routines, play experiences, and interactions can create meaningful opportunities to develop early mathematical concepts. Strategies for encouraging children to explore concepts such as counting, quantity, size, shape, patterns, and spatial relationships will also be discussed.

To receive credit for this session, participants must attend the presentation and complete a post-session self-assessment and reflection.
